Dr Ghergus has joined The Kakoty Practice in June 2023 and is working on a full-time basis. His special interest is in musculoskeletal problems and he offers joint injections.

DR SONNIE JOSEPH (m)

Dr Joseph joined The Kakoty Practice in 2008, he works Tuesday to Friday and specialises in long-term condition management.

DR MARILENA BALINT (f)

Dr Balint has joined the practice in June 2023 and is working on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday's. Her special interest is in Dermatology.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Helen is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who has joined the practice team in November 2020. She can prescribe medication, issue sick notes and request investigations. She has a special interest in women's health, perinatal follow-up, and contraception. Helen also undertakes cancer care, learning disability and mental health reviews.

Karen offers a broad range of long-term condition management including anticoagulant screening, cervical smears, spirometry, menopause reviews, medication reviews.

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under 5 years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. They can be contacted on 08006126221

GP net earnings

GP earnings 2024-25

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. The required disclosure is shown below.

The average gross earnings (before tax and National Insurance) for GPs working at The Kakoty Practice in the last financial year was £64,200 This is for 2 Part time GPs.

However, it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earning is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgment about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.
